How you’ll make an impact:
SiriusXM is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our efforts around the SiriusXM Streaming Search and Discovery Experience on Mobile, Web and Connected TV. This role will focus on defining and building the Search experience for our users in the SiriusXM app across all touchpoints.
What you’ll do:
Define, drive and execute on a roadmap and vision by converting abstract ideas into actionable steps and realistic deliverables for SiriusXM's streaming Search experience.
Become a subject matter expert on the product, platform, and industry trends in streaming on connected TV, web and mobile app marketplaces. Gain a deep understanding of customer motivations, problems, journeys, and usage patterns.
Partner with engineering, user experience, research, programming, and editorial teams to understand current goals and constantly experiment and design product solutions that incorporate user feedback through multiple iterations.
Create alignment between engineering, business stakeholders and leadership, while helping to define the high-level product strategy aligned with our business vision.
Partner and collaborate within the product organization to understand the desired subscriber experience and plan the necessary capabilities to enable those experiences
Serve as the first point of contact for questions and clarifications.
Deeply understand business considerations, competitive landscape, and product development best practices to deliver initiatives in a timely manner
What you’ll need:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
5+ years of product management work experience
3+ years of experience in the streaming media space
Strong product management background with demonstrated success supporting digital products
Engineering or technical background with a strong ability to understand and interface with engineering on a daily basis
Customer-first orientation. You will interview, analyze, observe and learn about your audience to create insights that will shape requirements, features and the product roadmap.
Data-driven, able to gather & distill data and learnings in order to drive continuous product iteration and improvements
Proven experience in owning products / large scale projects through to completion, from requirements gathering through rollout and training
Ability to absorb and synthesize complex and ambiguous requirements, organizing them into structured requirements and user stories
Ability to prioritize cross-initiative requirements in service of organizational goals
Experience working in an Agile software development environment
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
