We offer an online training program and summer work experience for aspiring Pharmacy Clerks through Washington's Pre-Employment Training Service (Pre-ETS) program.
What does a Pharmacy Clerk do?
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they come to the pharmacy
- Answer phone calls
- Collect payment and insurance information
- Give orders to customers
- Keep the shelves organized and clean
- Make regular inventory checks
To qualify for the free online coursework, you must be:
- Aged 15 to 21
- Have a documented disability, such as an IEP or 504 plan.
- Be a Washington resident
- Currently enrolled in a Washington-based school or Youth Transition Program.
The work experience or job shadow places you in a pharmacy or other relevant healthcare setting located near you where you live.
