Job Description

We are seekingcreative and hands-on specialist to join our dynamic Billund based team as a Senior Game Design Manager. This is an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of game development and shape the future of digital LEGO experiences and inspire fans around the globe. 

Core Responsibilities 

This Game Designer sits on Senior Manager level and will be focusing on the following: 

  • Design and implement experiences that encourage digital fan creators of all ages in collaboration with a cross-functional team of technical and artistic people. 

  • Dive into creator needs, audience profiles and community feedback - and design experiences to meet those. 

  • Be a driving force and great teammate in exploring new ways to teach digital LEGO game creation for creators of all ages. 

  • Be the voice of the Creators 

  • Work with GAME colleagues on the right LEGO play vision and tone of voice in the digital gaming space

The LEGO Games team is responsible for all game products across the LEGO Group. It is our ambition to demonstrate that games based on the LEGO Idea can be the most fun, creative and collaborative, while being safe. Developed for everyone and loved by children.  

Do you have what it takes? 

  • Strong understanding of Digital Play, UX and game design 

  • Strong proven hands-on level design skills 

  • Experience working with gaming tools and platforms. 

  • Understanding or can relate to LEGO Play in a digital context  

  • Passion to create and work with creative team members to build outstanding creative templates. 

  • Thrives upon change. Comfortable prototyping and working with iterative development processes. 

  • Ability to organize and build transparency around own work, and the work of others. 

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English. 

  • It is an advantage to have experience with digital LEGO builder tools such as Stud.io / BrickLink or LDD. 

Please note: This is a permanent position based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office).
