Job Description

The Junior Project Manager, Operations PMO will work independently, and apply the correct level of urgency to achieve a mutually accepted solution, all while providing customer service. You should have a desire to learn enterprise project management principles and how to apply that knowledge towards the successful implementation and delivery of projects.

This is a remote opportunity. You will report to Project Manager, Operations PMO and you will work with a team of geographically distributed staff.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • You will guide complex projects through the project management life cycle while keeping the project organized (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, closure).
  • You will elicit and document technical and functional requirements and define project scope.
  • You will develop and document project schedules, deliverables, and milestones through a detailed project plan.
  • You will resolve issues, risks and dependencies associated with projects; lead risk mitigation planning and communication to project sponsors/stakeholders; Escalate issues as defined in documented escalation procedures.
  • You will coordinate the work of multiple project team members.
  • You will escalate issues as defined in documented escalation procedures.
  • You will communicate with stakeholders at all levels, especially leadership.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of project management, business analysis, or related experience.
  • Preferred: PMI certification (CAPM, PMP) or Scrum Alliance Certification (CSM).

Skills/Requirements:

  • Make decisions and judgments based on standard procedures.
  • Prioritize, manage workload, and adapt to changing business conditions.
  • Understand and communicate how project team(s) work aligns with dentsu’s business goals & objectives.
  • Demonstrate basic understanding of Project Management Concepts as defined by the Project management institute (PMI) and/or Agile concepts and methodologies (Scrum Alliance).
  • Have conflict resolution skills with an ability to identify stakeholders, assess their needs and manage expectations

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $59,000 - $96,025. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
