As a Retail Store Associate, you will be an integral part of creating an outstanding experience at Funko’s flagship retail store in downtown Everett, WA. an ambassador of the brand, our Sales Associates are enthusiastic, motivated team players passionate about pop culture and assisting customers through product knowledge, to guide and generate sales.  

Your Superpowers in Action

  • Provide customers with a unique shopping experience by ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.
  • Replenish merchandise; restocking, clean-up tasks as needed
  • Determine customer needs based on personal features and other customer preferences
  • Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services to gain sales
  • Maintain a professional attitude; friendly demeanor
  • Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures
  • Handle cash/register for sales transactions

Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry

  • One or more years of specialty retail sales experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
  • Customer focus mindset 
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette
  • Must possess ability to process merchandise through POS register system
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance & punctuality
  • Possess basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to use a calculator. Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and busy events around holidays and other events as required
  • Demonstrate passion for the brand, products, services and solutions offered to our customers

Compensation & Benefits

The starting base salary range for this position is $17.00 per hour with an additional benefit of a 401(K) plan that includes matching contributions from the company. ​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. 

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
