Do you aspire to become an expert and advocate in the use of the LEGO Data Platform, champion best practices across the LEGO Group and actively support the development and rollout of self-service strategy?
We are looking for a Technical Writer who can be our ambassador for the Data Office and an active member of the Data Product Lifecycle team within the Data Platform organization!
Core Responsibilities
You will become part of a team full of great colleagues who strive to enable data producers and consumers across the company to use self-service functionalities of our Data Platform. You will contribute to this mission through optimizing our technical documentation and how-to guides used by users as our first Technical Writer.
Your responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to establish standards and create content for the technical documentation and other user facing materials in the Data Platform organization. Our users are specialists, engineers and analysts from all parts of the business. Your first home will be the Data Product Lifecycle product team, but we hope to have your professional touch on other product teams!
You will collaborate with Data Engineers and Specialists on the team to validate existing material and optimize to meet internal standards and user expectations. Partner with users, conduct research to understand how they use solutions provided by the Data Platform, identify different personas and adapt documentation to their needs.
Play your part in our team succeeding
This role supports value creation for more than 200 digital product teams and analytics teams using our self-service data platform. By creating standardized documentation that meets user expectations we boost platform adoption and overall data fluency can significantly shorten the time it takes for our users to take informed decisions.
Do you have what it takes?
You are educated in communication, or you may have exposure in Business Intelligence or a similar data-related field. You have few years' working experience in data or technology focused environment. In addition, you have experience:
Writing technical documentation and user guides.
Managing structured communications to customers.
Sparring with engineers and users.
Autonomous way of working, taking the lead on initiatives and proposing actions.
Demonstrable ability to drive delivery in complex, multi-functional environments.
Experience working within an Agile environment.
