We are looking for an Analytics Engineer who can be our ambassador for the Data Office and an active member of the Data Insights product team within the Data Platform organization! Location can be in either our headquarter in Billund or Copenhagen Digital Hub.
Please note there is no relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core Responsibilities
You will join a team brimming with exceptional talent, all dedicated to assisting data users throughout the LEGO Group. Our goal is to enable effective use of self-service reporting and analytics tools through coaching and promoting effective practices.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Your primary task is to serve as our in-house Power BI expert, collaborating with key users of the self-service solutions and guiding fellow Data Specialists and Engineers. You will evaluate use cases across different business areas, guiding teams on data sourcing, modeling, and visualization. You can switch between roles as an advisor and a learner, understanding technical possibilities and constraints, and converting them into strategic actions. You can take the lead on initiatives, defining data modeling and visualization strategies, and rapidly delivering tangible results.

This role is to drive value from data across the entire organization. Our team maintains Power BI and Tableau for over 20.000 users, and we need to ensure they have a smooth path to insights, but also maintain the health of our self-service solution through standards and guidelines.
Do you have what it takes?
Ideally, you hold a degree in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Business Analysis, or a related field, coupled with demonstrated experience in a data-centric environment.
Your expertise should include developing Power BI solutions, fostering self-service capabilities, and enhancing data fluency. You possess a proven track record of managing business engagement and communication with the approach to enable internal customers, and crafting data models while building and optimizing ETL pipelines. Your ability to drive delivery in complex, multifunctional settings is well-established. Additionally, you have good communication both verbal and written in English, and experience working within an Agile framework.
It would be an absolute bonus to have:
Solid SQL and/or Python experience.
Experience managing complex transformation projects, with a focus on both technology and transformation.
Experience working with Databricks, with a focus gold layer data products.
Experience in training and providing documentation for customers and junior team members.
